Houses with Faces

A comic essay

It started with a mediation on house plants and, somehow, yoga bros.

Some asks a house (an illustration), half-painted pink, “Hey, house, what’s good?” The gumpy house says, “Why don’t you ask Sherwin-Williams, here?” A man on the roof responds, “It’ll look great with the trim!”

And led to the paint jobs of the Victorian houses down our street.
